FilterLogic's 'classic' style FL601 filters effectively remove impurities from your water including chlorine which can affect the taste and smell of your water, as well as limescale which is a common issue for many hard water households.
Filtered water is especially beneficial when used in your kettle. Not only does it help protect the lifespan of the appliance, but hot drinks made with filtered water look and taste better thanks to the removal of surface scum.
The filters use multiple stages of filtration to ensure that your water tastes, looks and smells the best it can:
1. An integral top filter to trap large particles present in the water such as sand and rust
2. The latest in food-grade ion exchange technology where the resins reduce heavy metals, limescale and aluminium, amongst other contaminants
3. A special activated carbon layer which has been silver treated for bacteria control. This layer absorbs chlorine and organic pollutants such as herbicides, solvents, bad taste and other odours
4. A fine particle filter to remove any remaining particles.
These cartridges will fit all Brita classic filter jugs and are also compatible with any jugs using classic cartridges including models from Boots, Tefal, Waymaster, Curver and Aquastream, as well as Laica classic and the Kenwood range of universal jug filters.
Each cartridge will filter up to 150 litres of water, or last one month, depending on usage and mains water quality.
