The Neptune filter jug from FilterLogic makes a great addition to any kitchen and with high quality, low cost replacement cartridges, you can enjoy fresh, filtered water at a fraction of the cost of shop bought bottled water.
The jug comes with the first filter cartridge free of charge. Please note that this jug uses the 'classic' style of cartridge, if you require the Maxtra style, we also have the Venus FLJ402 jug. The cartridge effectively removes impurities from your mains water to ensure it tastes, smells and looks fresh and clear.
The cartridge is also our own FilterLogic brand which meets with TUV approval and has been tested in an accredited WQA approved facility to ensure it meets the ANSI 42 testing standards.
Cartridge life is approximately 1 month.

The jug itself is smart looking and feels sturdy. The handle is attached at both ends which makes sense. When reviewing filters prior to purchase, I saw that jugs with handles attached only at the top were prone to breaking.
The lid fits tightly and the spout opens automatically when you are pouring from the jug. You don't have to remove the lid when refilling from the tap as there is a flap which opens up.
I live in a hard water area and my water tastes so much better from this filter.
Last but not least, the jug fits nicely in the fridge door.
I found it difficult to attach the lid flush with the jug initially but eventually it stayed. The slim design of the jug enables it to fit snugly in side of fridge door.
The only miniscule thing missing is that there's no date reminder facility on the jug to remind you to change the cartridge but no big deal..just have to rely on memory or write it down.
