The FL402-E (Extra) is the new cartridge designed to fit FilterLogic Jugs (FLJ402) and those from other manufacturers that use the Brita Maxtra™ and Brita Maxtra+™ cartridge including Bosch Tassimo, Aquaphor Maxfor, Dafi Unimax and BWT MG (Please note that the FL402E DOES NOT add magnesium). This is the only current compatible which fits all Brita Maxtra™ style jugs, including Fill and Enjoy / Style.
The FL402E (Extra) offers improved performance over our popular legacy filter (FL402) with the addition of more filtration media offering longer contact times and better overall removal rates. The step up from FL402 to FL402-Extra should yield comparable benefits to the end user as with other similar products. Each cartridge will last approximately one month, depending on usage and your water quality.
The cartridge removes impurities from water such as chlorine, aluminium and copper to improve the taste and odour of mains tap water. The cartridge will also help reduce limescale build-up, protecting your appliances. On average, the FL402-E will remove 73.7% of aluminium, 95.8% of copper and 95.2% of chlorine.

All orders placed before 12:30pm will usually be dispatched the same day, Monday to Friday. Any orders placed after this time will be dispatched the next working day. Orders placed between 12:30pm Friday and 12:30pm Monday are dispatched on Monday.

Orders are sent via Royal Mail. Please allow 2 to 5 working days for your order to arrive. We reserve the right to upgrade high-value orders to a courier service of our choice for insurance purposes, usually DHL or Parcelforce.

In some instances, the fulfilment of our products may be handled by a third party, usually where bespoke packaging or specialist courier handling is required and suitable provisions are already in place with either the manufacturer or national distributor.
These orders will still ship via next-day courier; however, the cut-off times for same-day dispatch may vary depending on the supplier’s location.
In line with distance selling under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 calendar days after receipt of your goods to return them to us if you have changed your mind for any reason
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. You are responsible for paying all postage costs associated with returning the item to us.
